7 Major Updates to the ATP: Project List “Refresh”
“Refresh” project list A lot of has changed since the 2007 plan in the world of biking and walking. There are new state requirements for what must be included in Active Transportation Plans, and a lot of a great best practices documents on how to create comfortable and safe improvements for people who walk and bikes As such, we revisited the project list to make sure that the improvements reflected that latest and greatest design solutions

8 Major Updates to the ATP: Development of “Focus Study Area” Projects
The main emphasis of this update is on the creation of “focus study area” project for key locations in the City Concepts, cost estimates, and project info for each of nine projects Emphasis on transit access, trail access, and low traffic stress bikeways and walkways “Fact Sheets” to make the project competitive for grant funding

9 Major Updates to the ATP: Coordination with Urban Greening & San Pablo Avenue Specific Plans
Coordinated with the major planning efforts that occurred in the past two years in El Cerrito: The Urban Greening Plan, which is currently in draft form The San Pablo Avenue Specific Plan, for which improvements for biking and walking improvements were developed on the length of San Pablo Avenue, adopted
