1 The Med-Chi Lectures ABERDEEN MEDICO-CHIRURGICAL SOCIETY Founded 1789 Fellowship │ Education │ Heritage Thursday 12th April 2018 – 7pm The Med-Chi Hall “Modern Management of Treatment-Refractory Depression and OCD” Med-Chi Hall Aberdeen Medico-Chirurgical Society The Med-Chi Hall, Foresterhill at 7pm Dr David Christmas is a Consultant Psychiatrist in the Advanced Interventions Service, a Scottish National Specialist Service for the assessment and treatment of chronic, treatment-refractory depression and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). He has been in his current post since Prior to this, he was a clinical lecturer in the University of Dundee. His research interests include neuroimaging of mood disorders and the neurosurgical treatment of chronic, treatment-refractory depression and OCD. He is a proponent of evidence-based psychiatry.
