I hope you have had a great summer and are ready to get back to school and LEARN! I have been looking forward to meeting you. I am confident you will have a fantastic year. I have been busy planning lessons and activities that will challenge you to grow both academically and socially. I am excited to have a great and successful year. You will be learning reading, language arts, and math in our classroom. I will send home a weekly letter each Friday to inform you of the upcoming learning goals we will be working on. I will send home a daily behavior calendar for you to check and initial. Each week you will have 5 new spelling words, 5 new sight words, and a new phonics skill to master.

This week we will be taking an assessment to see what you have already mastered. We will have 5 spelling words and 5 sight words listed below. We will also be reviewing some basic skills you may already know.
