2. WHAT IS ADISSEO?
-Adisseo Group is the third largest manufacturer of animal nutritional additives and solutions in the world. -Adisseo make methionine, vitamins, enzymes and other feed additives.
Adisseo Group is the third largest manufacturer of animal nutritional additives and solutions in the world. The Group develops, manufactures and markets four families of additives: Rhodimet®, an essential amino acid for monogastric animals (poultry, pigs, etc.); Metasmart® and Smartamine®, a unique range of methionine products for ruminants; Rovabio®, a multi-enzyme speciality improving the digestibility of raw materials; and Microvit®, a whole range of vitamins. Moreover, with the acquisition of PSR, Adisseo has recently reinforced its business in the field of sulphur products (H2S, CS2 and sulphuric acid) essential for the production of Methionine. Adisseo employs 1,200 people in 140 countries and has 3 research labs and 4 production facilities: Commentry and Les Roches-Roussillon (France), Burgos (Spain) and Institute (USA). In 2007, the Group’s sales figure reached 630 million Euros (860 million Dollars), up by 14%. Since January 2006, Adisseo has been one of the main subsidiaries of China National Bluestar, a major player in the Chinese chemical industry, with almost 3 billion Euros in sales.

-Adisseo’s core competency is nutritional feed additives like amino acid, vitamin and enzymes. They develop solutions by specific requirements of poultry, swine and ruminants. And they are the only one company which offer methionine in both powder and liquid form.

6. Microvit™ quality, traceability, safety
Under MICROVIT® brand name, Adisseo offers 12 different feed grade vitamins in more than 100 countries. Adisseo has been involved in vitamin production since 1958 when the first MICROVIT® was launched. Over the years Adisseo has become a worldwide key player of the feed grade vitamin market.
MICROVIT® vitamins are offered in different formulations which suit the various applications and constraints of different species and plants (powders for premixes, oils, soluble powders).

With the Rhodimet™ line, Adisseo is the only producer to offer both powder(NP 99) methionine and liquid(AT 88) methionine hydroxy analogue. Both are easy to use and ideally suited to large production facilities.

By-pass protein
Each particle of our proprietary Smartamine ™ additive contains a core of concentrated methionine protected by a coating that remains stable as it travels through the rumen. The methionine is released only in the abomasum before being totally absorbed in the small intestine. Smartamine™ allows diary producers, for example, to balance amino acids in their rations, which improves milk protein content and cheese-making properties, among other benefits, in a broad range of situations.
