During the middle years, AVID students learn the basic fundamentals and skills required for independent work habits needed for the years to come. For instance, note-taking, studying, asking questions and seeking clarity from instructors. Also, staying organized, exposure to high school and college expectations by going on field trips, building sense of family/community, and preparing students to enroll in Advance Placement Courses in high school are some of the things we do in AVID!
