7. Emergency Grant Hurricane Wilma tidal surge in October 2005. $19,960.51 license plate emergency grant allowed quick restoration of facility. No turtles were harmed (just lost for a few days).

8. Funding Technology X-ray scanner allows the conversion of 25-year patient history into digital files. Blood analysis equipment allows in-house results as well as training & consultation.

9. Funding Technology Customized ventilator allows adjusted intervals of.5 to 4 minutes. Extremely useful for long recovery times of sea turtles.

10. Education Center Remodel Completed in September 2010 for $38,824.00.
