In your sourcebooks, respond to the following prompt/questions: Define bullying How do you think the bullied feels? What do you think bullying looks like?

5 What is Bullying? Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems.

Turn and Talk: Discuss various reasons as to why bullying occurs in middle schools

Interview an administrator or guidance counselor in the school in order to find out how bullying is being handled.

In the computer lab, students will: Conduct research on various bullying policies/laws Describe three policies Choose the one policy/law that is the most beneficial to middle school students and explain your response by providing evidence from the research

13 What Can I Do to White-Out Bullying?
Now that you have gained an abundance of knowledge, what can you do in order to put an end to bullying?
