WB:
This week:
We will reading the story ‘A letter for Bear’ and we will be writing some thank you cards to go with the story.
We will be making our hats to wear for the Nativity concert. We will also be making some decorations for the Christmas tree.
We will be looking at different shapes and sorting different shaped presents into sets.
Finally we will be practising our Christmas songs ready for the Nativity concert.
Information
The Christmas Fayre is on Friday 8th December at 3.20pm all welcome! We are collecting chocolate for the Chocolate tombola and any Bric a Brac for the stalls. If you have contributions then please bring them into Nursery.
There are currently some cases of Chicken pox in Nursery so please be on the look out for spots if your child has not had chicken pox already.

EYFS Nativity Wednesday 20th December group am group pm.
Christmas parties:- group 1 Tuesday 19th December Group 2 Thursday 21st December.
Break up for Christmas Friday 22nd December at 1.30pm Have a good week

Areas of Learning we will cover
We will be continuing to cover all 7 areas of learning but this week we will be working on our letter formation as we write some thank you cards for Bear- linked to the story ‘A letter for Bear’.
This week we will be thinking about shapes of objects in the environment as we sort Santa’s presents into the correct shape group.
We will be introduced to the story of the Nativity and listening to the story of the first Christmas.
We will also be playing in our new ‘Santa’s workshop’ role play area! As well as opening our Advent Calendar.
Homework
Don’t forget to bring your book bag in everyday!
Please share the book with your child and write a comment in the reading diary. Thank you to all of the parents who have done this it is great to read about how much reading they are doing at home.
We will change the books every week Group 1 –Tuesday and Group 2 - Friday.
