2. A Psalm for Thanksgiving
1 Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. 3 Know that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting And His faithfulness to all generations.

3. Ingratitude From the Latin – “in” – not --- and;
“gratidudo” – to be pleasing; pleasant, gracious, thankful
Not pleasing, pleasant, gracious, thankful
Every sinful thought and action you experience is an act of ingratitude toward God.

4. What is sin?
Sin is defilement
Sin is rebellion
Sin is ingratitude

“The beginning of man's rebellion against God was, and is, the lack of a thankful heart.”

“Have I come prepared – prepared to express myself joyfully, to be a person who manifests genuine gladness before the Lord and His people?”
As we gather to worship the Lord, every other person in the congregation should know whether or not you are finding joy in the Lord – your gladness to worship the Lord is to be evident to all.
