2 WHO WE ARE Finance Fund is a statewide non-profit financial intermediary founded in 1987 to connect low- to moderate-income communities with public and private sources of capital. Awards predevelopment grants and economic development grants to community-based non-profits Makes capital available to economic development projects in low-income, high-distress areas through the federal and Ohio New Markets Tax Credit programs . | T F |

3 WHO WE ARE Finance Fund Capital Corporation (FCAP) is a certified nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). Provides flexible loans to non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses located and operating in low- to moderate-income communities Helps build and rehabilitate community facilities, commercial and industrial properties, retail and office space with small business loans Focuses on affordable housing, community facilities, healthy food retail, and small businesses Creates permanent, private sector jobs . | T F |

4 OUTCOMES To date, Finance Fund and its affiliates have invested more than $459.2 million in housing, economic development, and community facility projects leveraging over $1.83 billion. | T F |

6 GRANT PROGRAMS: Eligibility
Community-based non-profit organizations with a development focus Defined geography, focused on low- to moderate-income areas 1/3 of board membership represents those areas Financial capacity of organization (to complete project) Match requirement 12 months to use funds | T F |

7 Grants Programs - Predevelopment
Up to $30,000 plus up to 15% for administrative costs Purpose: Determine feasibility of a project – appraisals, market studies, business plans, architectural or engineering drawings, environmental studies and other professional fee Current focus: affordable housing or mixed use projects | T F |
