Python Mr. Husch

Do Now List all of the mathematical symbols that you know that have applied to coding in the past. We will go over these as a class.

Open the idle module and then a new file.
The file should be saved as lastname_test Make sure you make a folder for your work on the desktop.

Start with.

About the program Does this program take any inputs?
Are there any Variables in this program? Do you think Python will allow for variables?

Journal We WILL be going over the journal as a class, I want you to put thought and effort into it. You should answer this in the google form. What happens when the print command does not have quotation marks around the equation? Compare and Contrast JavaScript with what you have seen of Python. What can you do if you see a syntax error? How can you improve the example that was provided?

Lastname_1 Now you will create a program of your own using the print function and the mathematical symbols. You are encouraged to be creative with this when you are creating your program, and the MINIMUM is 20 lines of code. If you would like to experiment and try to add variables and inputs to your program. This is NOT REQUIRED, but if you want to try it after you have the initial lines of code I do encourage it. Python.org is your friend for this. When you are done please turn it in.

Turn in your work On the right hand side of the site there is a button for turning in work. You will need to click that and put your assignment into the drop box.
