Good Morning, my name is Meliah Isom. I am the Safety Project Coordinator at Cascade Valley Hospital. Last year Cascade Valley played a role in the response to the SR 530 mudslide. I was asked to join you today to share cascades experience during this incident and the lessons we learned as a result.

2. Cascade Valley Hospital is located in Arlington WA, only 15 minutes from the location of the slide. We are a small community hospital licensed for 47 Beds, less than 100,000 SQFT with 450 employees, some of which live in the arlington area. When the mudslide occurred in oso on March 22,2014 it hit very close to home for our employees and the community.
