3. UW System Password Policy
UW System Password Policy based on older standard (NIST ). NetID system is not in compliance.
New standard ( ) is more attractive to UW Madison.
UW Madison will seek to comply with the new standard.
Middleware will assess infrastructure to be compliant by August
Stakeholder team needed for policy, implementation plan, communication and change management.
Need to accelerate formation of the IAM Steering Group.
