A Possessive Noun shows who or what has or owns something.

What does Henry have or own? That is Henrys pumpkin. Who is the subject?

5. Make it POSSESSIVE! That is Henry’s pumpkin.
Add an apostrophe (‘) and the letter “s” to make a singular noun possessive.
That is Henry’s pumpkin.

Add an apostrophe (‘) and “s” forms a possessive of plural nouns not ending in “s”.
