2 Purpose of this CEAF The purpose of this change notification CEAF is to communicate ISL E6 OBD phase C product updates which will take place with the launch of the L9 E6 OBD phase C product in July 2017 Further information is available within the L9 Impact presentation available on the ISL E6 ODB C product page on GCE Insert Data Classification

3 Purpose of L9 E6 OBD C Project
Enhance performance of the L9 Euro VI Phase C engine for typical European operation 3 updated power ratings; 340, 370 and 400hp All ratings feature increased low engine speed torque Increased peak torque range Improved Fuel Economy; 3~6%* * Duty cycle dependent compared to ISL E6 OBD Phase A Confidential

Turbo hardware split will be same as Phase A: 340hp smaller trim turbo 370 & 400 larger trim turbo (externally identical to current product) Revised calibration Revised torque curve Improved fuel consumption Outcome This will drive new engine specifications to cover changes to FR, DO and SC options Confidential

5 Aftertreatment Changes
Aftertreatment system remaining same as Phase A and C system (current product) Critical Change: Exhaust temperature drop from turbo outlet to aftertreatment inlet is 20 deg C across all ratings Confidential

6 Torque curves Three power ratings (Euro VI Phase C compliant)
400hp / 1700Nm for Truck and Coach: (N3 >16tonne and M3 class III) respectively 370hp / 1600Nm for Truck, Coach and Bus: (N3 >16tonne, M3 class III, Bus class I & II) respectively 340hp / 1500Nm for Truck, Coach and Bus: Confidential
