Total Vehicles Checked: 3143 Total Personal Contacts: 5152 Total DWI Arrests: 3 The purpose of checkpoints is to create awareness while showing a joint law enforcement effort. Success comes with the number of contacts, not the number of arrests.

Current Number of Drug Influence Evaluators in this region: Louisiana State Police – 3 troopers Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries – 4 agents Monroe Police Department – 1 officer West Monroe Police Department – 3 officers Ruston Police Department – 2 officers Current class includes 2 Troopers and 2 Wildlife Agents

8 ENHANCING THE IMPAIRED DRIVING PROGRAM
Intoxilyzer 9000 class held at Monroe Public Safety from June 25th through June 28th. 42 new operators certified on the instrument.
