2 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Romans 6:14 NKJV Sin or temptation can no longer control us because we are no longer governed by what gives sin it’s power, but we are governed by God’s overwhelming desire for us to enjoy the win in life.

3 15 I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. 16 But if I know that what I am doing is wrong, this shows that I agree that the law is good. 17 So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it. 18 And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can’t. 19 I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway. Romans 7:15-19 NLT

4 OUR PROBLEM IS RELIGION, which is always focused on some type of law.
“The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.” Romans 8:3 NLT

5 “Before the way of faith in Christ was available to us, we were placed under guard by the law. We were kept in protective custody, so to speak, until the way of faith was revealed. Let me put it another way. The law was our guardian until Christ came; it protected us until we could be made right with God through faith. And now that the way of faith has come, we no longer need the law as our guardian.” Galatians 3:23-25 NLT “For when I tried to keep the law, it condemned me. So I died to the law—I stopped trying to meet all its requirements—so that I might live for God.” Galatians 2:19 NLT

6 “You crazy Galatians. Did someone put a hex on you
“You crazy Galatians! Did someone put a hex on you? Have you taken leave of your senses? Something crazy has happened, for it’s obvious that you no longer have the crucified Jesus in clear focus in your lives. His sacrifice on the cross was certainly set before you clearly enough. Let me put this question to you: How did your new life begin? Was it by working your heads off to please God? Or was it by responding to God’s Message to you? Are you going to continue this craziness? For only crazy people would think they could complete by their own efforts what was begun by God. If you weren’t smart enough or strong enough to begin it, how do you suppose you could perfect it?” Galatians 3:1-3 MSG Religion paralyzes us into a childhood mentality, mannerisms, and mission. True maturity in Christ is expressed by lawlessness and faith, not by obeying laws and commandments.

7 graced Law Grace the ONLY WAY TO LIVE!

8 Free to LIVE ALL OUT! “You shouldn’t have any trouble understanding this, friends, for you know all the ins and outs of the law—how it works and how its power touches only the living. For instance, a wife is legally tied to her husband while he lives, but if he dies, she’s free. If she lives with another man while her husband is living, she’s obviously an adulteress. But if he dies, she is quite free to marry another man in good conscience, with no one’s disapproval. Romans 7:1-3 MSG

9 Free to LIVE ALL OUT! So, my friends, this is something like what has taken place with you. When Christ died he took that entire rule-dominated way of life down with him and left it in the tomb, leaving you free to “marry” a resurrection life and bear “offspring” of faith for God. For as long as we lived that old way of life, doing whatever we felt we could get away with, sin was calling most of the shots as the old law code hemmed us in. And this made us all the more rebellious. In the end, all we had to show for it was miscarriages and stillbirths. But now that we’re no longer shackled to that domineering mate of sin, and out from under all those oppressive regulations and fine print, we’re free to live a new life in the freedom of God.” Romans 7:4-6 MSG

10 Nothing Multiplies without Intimacy!
““I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 NIV ““I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing.” John 15:5 MSG Fruit is the result of something that happens internally. It’s produced in and through us, not by us.

11 Checklist or To Do List? But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV

12 Accept Your True Identity!
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans 12:2 NLT Four Mental Focuses: Accept Your True Identity! Embrace the Grace! Refuse to do Religion! Enjoy the Connection!

13 SIN IS NO LONGER MY MASTER, THE LAW IS NO LONGER MY FOCUS,
For sin shall not have dominion over [me], for [I am] not under law but under grace. Romans 6:14 NKJV SIN IS NO LONGER MY MASTER, THE LAW IS NO LONGER MY FOCUS, EVERYDAY I AM GROWING STRONG IN CHRIST, and I LOVE TO PLEASE GOD!
