Description is called for when prompts ask for “what” happened during a learning experience.
Analysis is called for when prompts ask for the “how,” “why,” or “in what way” a learning experience was or was not successful.
Reflection is called for when prompts ask “how” you would handle a learning experience in the future. This may also require analysis of the experience.
