July 10th- Preliminary 6th semester rank is released. Rank will be updated in early September and July rank will go away.
September rank includes updated of all seniors who entered/exited Reagan over the summer.
Final rank will be released in January 2018.

SAT partners with Khan Academy for free online practice test. ACT does not offer free tests, but have other resources online.
College Tutors, Kaplan, Café College, Parman Library sometimes offer free practice tests.

Visit Colleges
You receive two college visit days as a junior and two days as a senior.
These do not count against your final exam exemptions.
Only count the actual date you visited campus, not travel time.
Submit a letter from the college to the attendance office upon your return.

It is a good idea to research colleges and start on your college applications this summer. Some applications open July 1, Many application deadlines are December 1 or January 1.

Apply Texas – Texas public colleges
Common Application – over 400 national universities (mostly private)
Individual College Applications – many institutions have their own unique application available on their website

14. HOW MANY COLLEGES SHOULD I APPLY TO?
Ideally, apply to 3-5 colleges, a full range of schools; all must be acceptable to you as your future home. Include 1-2 “stretch”/”dream” schools, mostly “good matches” in terms of GPA/test scores, and at least 1 “safety”/ “sure shot” school where you absolutely know you will be accepted.
Don’t waste your time and effort applying to schools you know you won’t attend.
