2. Jeopardy Rules
IMPORTANT: IF YOU RING YOUR BELL TOO HARD OR TOO LOUDLY, YOUR GROUP FORFEITS YOUR CHANCE TO ANSWER THE QUESTION.
If your team gets the answer correct, they may select the next question from the game board.
Each team member must participate. The bell will be passed to the next team member for each question (in other words, there will only be one team member participating for each question.)
The teammate who rings the bell must answer the question. There can be no discussion among the team.
The first team to ring their bell will have the opportunity to answer the question.
If that team gets the question right, they will receive the allotted number of points.
If they get the question wrong, they will lose the allotted number of points. The question can then be answered by any of the remaining groups (who must ring their bell once the teacher tells them that the question is up for grabs).
If, on the second try, the next group also gets the question incorrect, the question will be discarded, and the teacher will provide the correct answer.
The teacher reserves the right to determine what is or isn’t a correct answer.
