It is important that we take responsibility for our health. Shields have been used as protective devices for centuries. At each table, there is a shield that you will use for today’s project. Before we get into today’s assignment, take a minute to discuss who used shields and how where they used with the other students at your table.
Just like the warriors that used shields, we too use shields. They may not be made of metal, but we use them all the time even if we don’t know it.
