Have a safe and relaxing summer!
Last Week Activities
Monday- We will have “Watermelon Day” and do several watermelon activities and crafts during the morning. The k-2 talend show will be held in the gym at 1:00.
Tuesday- Awards and Game Day!
Our end of the year awards ceremony will be help in the gym beginning at 8:30. You will receive a note it you r child is receiving an awards at this assembly. For the remainder of the day we will have “Game Day.” Students are allowed to bring in board games from home. Please make sure that your child’s game is labeled with their name and fbe aware that we will not be held responsible for any missing pieces to games brought from home.
Wednesday- We will have “Water Day.” There was a note sent home Friday with all the details.
Awards Day is Tuesday
If your child is receiving an award you will have a form stating it in your folder today.

2. Pick up at the school from 8am-2pm June 2 through June8th
There are 3 options for parents receiving final report cards for grades 1-5:
Parent Portal-report cards on June 1st- (they will only be posted through June 17th)
Pick up at the school from 8am-2pm June 2 through June8th
By mail, parents can send in a self addressed stamped envelope (1per family)
Kindergarten registration for the upcoming school year has begun.  You can make an appointment  in one of two ways: you may visit the district website at or contact Central Registration at   Appointment slots are available from April 12th through May 5th.  Please keep in mind that if you live in Effingham Co and fail to make an appointment during the registration process  your child’s enrollment could be postponed until the week of August 8th and may result in a child missing the first several days of school.  For complete registration information, please check the kindergarten registration headlines found on our district website to link to registration instructions. Please share this information with friends and family.
Please note that you do not have to register your child for kindergarten if he or she is currently enrolled in a school based Bright from the Start Pre-K or PSI class within our school district.
