Serials Re-organization Help Wanted! The Acquisitions and Serials Dept. is embarking on a major Weeding and Shifting Project with the second and third floor bound periodicals. We need your help with packing boxes and moving volumes from floor to floor. Please sign up to volunteer for at least 2 hours per week. Any time that is convenient for you is fine with us! We have two teams and we need at least one other person to form the third team with Annette Pilcher

Emphasis Service Concept With TP Staff Let the person sitting closest to the door know that the are the first point of contact for visitors and that they are expected to be helpful. If adjacent to Circ, encourage staff learn the procedure for checking out books. Offer staff the opportunity to participate in projects. Encourage them to come up with their own projects and give them credit for it on their annual evaluation. This promotes ownership of the position.
