4 Apprenticeships Project Leader
Responsible to: Chief Operating Officer Liaises with: Managing Director, Coaching Team, Corporate Partnership Team, Head of Finance, External Apprenticeships Consultant This role represents an exciting opportunity to build on Resurgo’s market leading approach to help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds into sustained employment through leading the Apprenticeships project. They will lead the project to develop the internal capability, curriculum and corporate relationships to maximise the opportunity of Apprenticeships to bring sustainable impact and funding for young people.

5 Responsibilities Leading the Apprenticeship Project
This role will project manage the development of Resurgo’s Apprenticeship capability across the main 3 priorities Develop Corporates Support the development of a corporate engagement strategy for the apprenticeship programme Develop Curriculum Develop Capability Work alongside the Coaching team to shape the structure and design of the apprenticeship journey and develop the apprenticeship delivery model options Develop and lead the Apprenticeship Programme Strategy and project action plan Design and develop the corporate/customer journey and identify relevant resources , materials and communications to support Lead the implementation of the action plan, identifying resources, opportunities and risks Work alongside the Coaching team to develop the curriculum plan and resources; utilising available materials and inspirational teaching approaches Actively network and make new relationships to seek intelligence and input that will help to shape an effective and innovative approach to apprenticeship delivery Establish the process, systems and documentation required to run an effective and compliant programme Ensure that the curriculum and delivery plans meet the criteria and requirements of the apprenticeship standard/s including Maths and English Develop the policies and procedures to ensure that the apprentices have a high quality, supported and safe experience Support the engagement of new and existing corporate relationships in apprenticeships Work closely with any pilot levy organisations to develop a suitable and bespoke curriculum Be the first point of contact for staff and existing learners on apprenticeship and plans – champion our plans! Support the recruitment plans and process for the new apprenticeship team

6 Person Specification Working Requirements
Ability to personally represent the Christian values of Resurgo Passionate about helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds benefit from the Apprenticeship Levy and Resurgo’s coaching expertise. Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities, initiative and a self-starter Project management experience. Strong organisational skills including the ability to establish appropriate processes and structures. Ability to manage multiple priorities to set and then meet targets and deadlines An excellent communicator, with the ability to positively influence a wide range of stakeholders. Ability to make the complex simple, dependent on the audience. Up to date knowledge and working experience of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. To operate flexibly in a changing and dynamic environment. Fixed term contract with flexibility e.g. 4/5 days/week starting June (6 month fixed term) or 3 days/week starting before June (9 month fixed term). Although this is a fixed term role it is anticipated that there will be opportunities for longer term roles within the new Apprenticeships team- See ‘Responsibilities- Develop Capability’ Occasional evening meetings and charity or team building events outside of hours as required by the role Participating in the wider staff team including taking an active part in weekly staff and prayer meetings and key events such as the residential staff conference

Salary & Benefits How to Apply £29.2k-£31.6k (pro rata dependent on experience) Please complete the application form on our website submit it with your CV Pension scheme: 3% employer contribution 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata) Christmas ‘gift days’- office is shut between Christmas and New Year Attendance on ‘Coaching for Leadership’ course- iLM accredited 5 day programme of coaching training over 2 months (valued at £2,500).
