2 Mixtures & solutions Mixtures: a combination of 2 or more substances.
Substances in a mixture aren’t permanently mixed together & their properties don’t change. Substances can be separated from the mixture & be the same as they were before they were mixed. Substances in a mixture aren't always evenly distributed.

3 a mixture of salt ( or sugar) in water?
How would you separate a mixture of salt ( or sugar) in water? Some mixtures blend so well so its hard to see all different parts.

How would you separate a mixture of sand and water? If you mixed them you will make a mixture but the parts look different. You can see that sand sink to the bottom.

9 Solutions Solution is a mixture in which all parts are mixed evenly.
Solution is a kind of Mixtures. Examples of mixtures include salt in water & sugar in water.
