My name is Sara Self. I am looking forward to an exciting school year with your student in my class! This is my 4th year teaching at Colonial Trail and my 3rd year teaching 2nd grade.
I grew up in the Northern Virginia area. I knew early on that I wanted to be a teacher as I watched my mom teach kindergarten for nearly 20 years. I loved helping her in her classroom and so my passion for education began!
