“The one who doesn’t love has yet to know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:8
Agape is Love
Agape is the Love God has for His own children
Agape is sacrificial Love John 3:16
Agape is the Love of Christ, delivered through the Body of Christ
Agape is an offering to another person without expecting anything in return
Agape is Love, not gifts.

From the Kairos Torch Manual (page 62):
“A far reaching purpose of the agape team is to invite people to visit incarcerated youth on Christ’s behalf; even if they never set foot in a prison by communicating His love through their sacrificial gifts of agape. When Christians grasp that focus, Weekends will be filled with overflowing love from the Body of Christ.”
