2. About : Auto Bank Config
When you use the cheque printing feature of Tally, it is required to provide the correct dimensions of the cheque. It is really a very time consuming job to find exact dimensions and enter them in tally. Also, you need to do it on trial and error basis.
What if, those dimensions are readily available to you?
We found some data for few of the banks uploaded in CA Club India’s website. And based on that we have developed this utility. This utility will provide you the readily available cheque dimensions for some reputed banks. You just need to select the correct bank from the list and dimensions will automatically get copied to your setup.
So ….use this utility and…. Just be relaxed !!!!

3. Features : Auto Bank Config
Automatic Cheque configuration for the selected the Banks.

4. How to use : Auto Bank Config
Enter “Yes”, while creating /modifying the ledger for bank account.

5. How to use : Auto Bank Config
Click the “Fill From” button to copy and fill up the values.

Select the your Bank

7. How to use : Auto Bank Config
Similarly use can do the setup using F11 Features.
Press F11 or Click this button while you are on “Gateway of Tally”

Select “Accounting Features” Manu.

Enter “Yes” for Set/Alter Cheque Printing Configuration option.

10. How to use : Auto Bank Config
Select the bank Ledger for which you wish to configure Cheque Printing.

11. How to use : Auto Bank Config
Alt+F or Click this button to copy the configuration.

12. How to install TDL file….
Click on the above icon. Extract the files.
Copy the files UTIL025_Ver1_00_Auto Cheque Config.tdl and cheque_config.asc to your Tally folder.
Open the Tally.ini file in Notepad from your Tally folder
Set the option as TDL=UTIL025_Ver1_00_Auto Cheque Config.tdl
Restart Tally.
Please note that this utility does not support Tally-9, Tally-7.2 or any versions prior to Tally.ERP 9 rel 1.3.
