Did something extremely horrible.
Entertained us.
Discovered or developed something innovative.

11. What is History? What is history? Written record of past events.
History contains facts- events that can be verified (proven).
Facts are verified from eye-witness accounts, majority agrees on details, artifacts and documentation.

12. Fact- WWII Atomic Bomb Fact: Two atomic bombs were dropped on Japan.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki were two cities that were devastated.
The United States dropped the bombs.

Japan- This was a horrible event. Needless and destructive. Innocent people were slaughtered.

United States- The dropping of the atomic bombs saved American lives and ended a war that would have killed even more Japanese than the bomb. It was a necessary thing to do.
