2 What do the words GENETICS or HEREDITY mean to you?
Genetics - the variation of inherited characteristics. Heredity - the passing on of physical or mental characteristics genetically from one generation to another. What traits or characteristics did you get (inherit) from your parents? Usually physical appearances are easy to spot. Do you look like your brother/sister/other family members? How so?

3 Human Traits You may have some traits like your classmates, even though you are not related. These traits usually go unnoticed. There are numerous traits in humans, but some traits occur more frequently than others. These are called high frequency traits. We’re going to see who has each of the following high frequency traits.
