Trigger Definition: When using triggers in Time Matters you can automate reactions. For every trigger defined action there is a automated reaction.
Auto Entry: Like a macro, an auto entry form can fill in information on a form style automatically. If linked to a form code, it can pre-fill an entire form or certain fields.

Business purpose example: Whenever a matter changes status, the firm wants to have a note record created to document the change in status. This way a report can be generated including all status changes. The firm does not want to rely on the user to update the a separate record documenting the change needs to be created. Although the audit trail is extremely useful, the firm wants a report that can be generated for each status change on matters.
