4 School Safety The safety of students at Lexington Middle School’s is our highest priority. During regular school hours, a School Resource Office (SRO) is on campus. Administration works closely with the SRO to investigate all incidents to ensure the safety of all students and staff on our campus. We routinely update and test the school emergency plan. The plan includes drills for fire, earthquake, bus evacuations, and lockdowns/lockouts.

6 Student Services Assistant Principals are assigned by grade level. The primary role of the assistant principals is to monitor the academic, behavioral, and development progress of all students. Assistant principals provide support and guidance to students so they can be better prepared for life beyond middle school. Brendan

9 The tools for success! Jane Doe Gloria and Brendan - Talk about books and textbooks, we don’t issue many to go home and most are available online. Bookbags should not be overly full – if they are, we need to check why. Ipad – charged and a part of the student’s school supplies. Important to be responsible but not independent in use of the iPad. iPad orientation at schedule pick up. We wear IDs at LMS. Teachers will issue a few temporaries, but we will start assigning some reminder type incentives to wear it.

10 LMS Dress Code Clothing should not be so immodest or inappropriate to the school setting as to disrupt the educational process or environment. Therefore, clothing deemed distracting, offensive, revealing, overly suggestive or otherwise disruptive. Brendan
