What is Lifelogging? Lifelogging is a way to record your daily activities in finite detail and store them in a repository. This concept was introduced by Gordon Bell. Bell uses a device known as a SenseCam to capture information. Picture from research.microsoft.com

Ethical Issues? An ethical issue that is apparent with this type of activity is an invasion of personal privacy. Another issue is that the information that is stored in the repository could be used for malicious activities.

Pros Cons Monitor Health Conditions.
Events can be recalled in finite detail. Information would be available to others to use and analyze. Could invade personal privacy. Capture confidential information. Used to perform malicious actions against the user or others.

Overall The information that is stored and captured with the SenseCam could prove to be beneficial to everyone. The information could also be used for malicious activities. For the SenseCam to be used by people on a daily basis, there will need to be a tradeoff between personal privacy and the capturing and storing of information.
