Players can call and coaches D1 and D2 coaches cannot call or players D3 coaches have unlimited phone call and contacts Official Visits not permitted Unofficial Visits unlimited Off campus contact not permitted Do not attempt to speak with a coach at a tournament at this age

12 Recruiting Rules - Sophomore year (NCAA)
Players can call and coaches D1 coaches cannot call or players D2 coaches can call, text, players after June 15th D3 coaches can call, text, players unlimited Official Visits not permitted Unofficial Visits unlimited D1 and D3 Off campus contact not permitted D2 off campus contact permitted after June 15th D2 contact allowed at tournaments after completion of Sophomore year

Players can call and coaches D1 coaches can call once a week after July 1st and unlimited during contact periods D2 and D3 coaches have unlimited calls, texts, and s D1 and D2 official visits not allowed D3 Official Visits allowed after January 1st Unofficial Visits unlimited D1 off campus visits allowed after July 1st. D2 off campus visits unlimited D3 Off campus contact allowed after completion of Junior year

Players can call and coaches D1 coaches can call once a week after July 1st and unlimited during contact periods D2 and D3 coaches have unlimited calls, texts, and s D1, D2, and D3 official Visit starts when high school classes open. D1 allows one official visit per school and a maximum of five school visits D2 and D3 allow unlimited official visits D1 off campus visits allowed but not more than three times. D2 and D3 off campus visits unlimited
