SITUATION
A Spanish provider of authentication services for electronic signatures, Camerfirma, used a traditional model for issuing digital certificates. Its digital certificates expired at a certain time and could only be used with desktop PCs, leaving out mobile devices and falling behind other SaaS models. Its customers asked Camerfirma for tools that would offer them more security to prevent the misuse of certain certificates representing a legal person.
