The Americas, such as the Mayan and Aztec Civilizations
Medieval and Renaissance Europe

8. Curriculum
6th Grade studies Ancient Civilization up through Exploration in 1492
7th Grade will pick up from Exploration until modern times
8th Grade does a focus on United States history through the lens of North Carolina.
If you took World Civ 1 & World Civ 2; 6th = World Civ. 1 & 7th = World Civ. 2

9. The Four C’s
Pine Hollow, and many other Wake County Schools, are beginning to implement the ideas of the Four C’s
The Four C’s are Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking and Creativity.
Many of the lessons that students engage in here on the Owls team will work to expose students to these four powerful skills.
