Cassidy Elementary – Renovation Work Completed in Last 30 Days: Concrete seating walls complete at playground and mulch in place. Storm sewers at rear of building complete. Morton parking lot extension complete. Second floor joist and slab structure complete at new additions. Masonry load bearing walls complete on Admin Addition. Brick Veneer complete on rear addition. Mechanical and electrical work rough-ins continue in new additions. September 2009

Cassidy Elementary – Renovation Current Work Effort (September): Storm sewer and underground detention system to complete. Stage floor to be poured and masonry load bearing walls installed. Roof joists and deck to be installed. Roofing finish to start before end of month. Interior metal framing to begin in enclosed areas. Elevator installation to be complete by end of month. Sprinkler rough-ins to begin. Rooftop mechanical units to be installed. Electric transformer to be installed. September 2009

Russell Cave Elementary – Renovation Work Completed in Last 30 Days: Roof at new addition is complete and the addition is dried in. Renovation of (4) classrooms on the south side continues, demolition is complete, new mechanical and electrical rough-in is in process. Stone veneer on addition base is in process. New windows have been installed at (4) classroom renovation. Current Work Effort (September): Interior ramp and stair in new addition will be poured. New horizontal blinds will be installed in cafeteria. Framing for knee walls at new windows and soffits in renovated classrooms will be installed. Block filler and painting will begin. New floor material will be delivered the first week of September Demolition of the general construction items will begin in the gymnasium. September 2009

Arlington Elementary – Renovation Work Completed in Last 30 Days: Mock up of exterior wall materials has been completed. Water detention system is in place. Joists have been set in the gymnasium and the slab is scheduled to be poured on 9/16. CMU walls continue in the kitchen. Current Work Effort (September): Demolition is almost complete. The shoring of the existing structure is in place and reconstruction of the bearing wall between existing and new construction has begun. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing work continues on site and in the existing building. Foundations continue at the main entry and in the media center. September 2009

New Music Suite Addition progressing well. Current Work Effort (September): Science and Computer room renovation to progress rapidly to meet November 1 scheduled substantial completion date. This also includes kitchen and Media Center. New addition to progress to the point where roof joist can begin installation. HVAC preparations to be made for switchover in phasing. Site-work to develop so that bus lane can be reinstalled. September 2009
