10 Improve Don’t rest on your laurels
Use synergy; be sure you’re in the right forest Learn from your mistakes or those of others

11 Try this... Who are your internal publics?
Who are your external publics? What would you say about your school? What makes it unique? Why would I want to invest?

12 Finally…Know the Rules
The best way to get money is to ask for it; People give to people, not to causes; Only those who have committed are qualified to ask those who have not;

13 More rules... 90% of your money will come from 10% of your prospects;
The best givers have given; The gift is the beginning of the relationship, not the end;

14 Even MORE rules... Be sure to keep careful financial records;
Be sure to recognize benefactors; Be suspicious about fundraising rules.
