Chest over Knee, Knee over Foot. Hide #s Eyes Up Must see the Safeties Key the ball

7 VS. PRESS = Boxer's Stance

8 Starts Visual cue in every drill
First Movement Forward. No wasted movement. “If you have to move to move, you gotta change your stance”

9 Cuts & Breaks Burst. Sell vertical!
Foot in ground and SEPARATE! ATTITUDE SLAM! Keeps your C of G low. Also, a plyometric. Rubberband anology. Drive the “tent stake”

10 Cuts & Breaks Win in transition Lunge “Squat” Separate
Put foot in 45 angle Ball of foot Chest thru knee, knee thru ball of foot Separate

11 Cuts & Breaks Strive to run as many speed cuts (1 legged cut) as possible If you must pat your feet, connect hands to feet. Upper body violence through cut Speed Thru break, not to the break Clean breaks. No baby steps. Head Up.

16 Catching the Ball Get between DB and ball. “Ball – You – Man”
Eyes on a Converstational Plane with Ball. Head/Eyes/Hands off plants and cuts High Ball = must be looking up. Attack the Ball! Eye level or higher! Go get it! Elbows together increases the surface area of your hands

17 Catching the Ball Focus on the White stripe.
Catch the front ½ of the ball. Never let the ball touch the body! Hands out in front of your body.

18 Catching the Ball Pluck and Tuck!
Ball above the waist = Triangle. Thumbs in Low Ball = bend knees, not waist. Elbows together! Fade Ball Put head down and run 5 yards after making stick. Keep running as long as possible, Hands Late. Stay out of the jungle. Build a fence. Don’t drift. Catch ball over O/S shoulder. Ball over your shoulder = Thumbs out, pinkys together.
