Grading Information Grading Due Dates
Assessments, projects, and presentations = 80% Assignments and participation = 20% Due Dates Assignments are typically due at the end of the class period. Late classwork is accepted without penalty as long as it is turned in during the applicable unit of instruction, after the close of the unit late classwork will not be accepted. Projects and presentations are due on posted due dates (whiteboard and website) Assignments missed due to an absence will be given an additional day for each day missed. Projects or tests, that are missed due to an absence, will be due/given on the day after the student returns to class. Please let me know if there are going to be extended absences so that we can make arrangements that will allow your child to keep pace with the class.

No Test Retakes and No Extra Credit
Periodically during the year I may offer recovery credit. When that occurs it is offered to the entire class. I do not offer individual extra credit and I don’t accept “extra” work in the place of classroom assignments. Test dates are posted well in advance of the testing day. Students should review class materials and study the test practice on the classroom resources page of my website prior to test day.
