6 Conservation/Wetland/
Highlights of Changes: Article 4.2 Conservation/Wetland/ Environmental (Previously Wetlands – Chapter 11) Adopts enhanced wetland buffers as required by Comprehensive Plan. (Policy ) Incorporated all of Chapter 11 - Wetlands

7 Flood Damage Prevention
Highlights of Changes: Article 4.3 Flood Damage Prevention (Previously Flood Damage Prevention– Chapter 16) Addresses “deminimus” floodplain/floodway impacts for bona fide agriculture Incorporated all of Chapter 16 – Flood Damage Prevention

8 Highlights of Changes:
Article 4.4 Access Management (Previously Access Management – Chapter 13) Location and Number of Access Points Requires street connectivity with adjacent developed street systems. Requires right-of-way/easements to allow future connections to undeveloped property for extensions if adjacent right-of-way is available. Allows for proportionate share payment for required road infrastructure.

9 Highlights of Changes:
Article 4.5 Stormwater (Previously Stormwater Management– Chapter 6) Impaired Water Bodies: Requires post-development pollutant load to be less than or equal to the pre-development load. (Match State and Federal requirements). Allow for alternate designs for Low Impact Development (LID). Wet detention pond side slopes (4:1 to three feet below control elevation)

Highlights of Changes: Article 4.6 Lot & Block Design Standards (Previously Subdivision Standards – Chapter 8) Streamline requirements for bonds Model home requirements for building permits

11 Transportation Standards
Highlights of Changes: Article 4.7 Transportation Standards (Previously Parking & Subdivision Standards – Chapters 7 & 8) Updates requirements and terminology for “Framework” Streets (Multi-modal, Avenue, Boulevard, Local Street) vs. “Arterials” and “Collectors” Adopts cross-sections for “complete streets” Adopts standards for private roads Adopts standards for mass transit Updates parking and loading area standards

Article 4.12 Miscellaneous (Previously Soil Excavation – Chapter 4) SOIL EXCAVATION Adopted “as is” from existing Chapter 4
