Select a Rectangle: When you click the “Shapes” button, a list of shapes drops down: Under “Rectangles”, click the first shape: © Professor Pete's Classroom

Let’s Draw! Click here Drag to here After you select the rectangle tool, click your mouse on the screen drag it down to the right A rectangle will appear! Release the mouse If nothing happens, click on the rectangle tool again to select the tool, then click and drag again. © Professor Pete's Classroom

Now, let’s draw an oval: Click “Insert”, “Shapes” again, to show the list of shapes: Under “Basic Shapes”, click the oval shape: © Professor Pete's Classroom

Draw an Oval! Click here Once again, click your mouse on the screen drag it down to the right You have drawn an oval! Release the mouse Drag to here © Professor Pete's Classroom

7 Change the Oval to a Circle:
Click on the oval you have drawn. You will see little circles squares appear around the edge, called “handles”: Click on the handle on the left, and drag it towards the centre of the oval. Release the mouse button when the shape looks like a circle. © Professor Pete's Classroom

Change the Colours: Click the circle you have drawn to select it: Click the “Drawing Tools” menu button: Select a style from the Drawing Tools menu: © Professor Pete's Classroom
