3. Project Charter The Charter should cover the following elements:
The Business Case:
The rational behind initiating the Six Sigma / Re engineering project from the business perspective. This part should answer why the project is important to the business and if it is addressing Short/Medium or long term challenges/Objectives. 3

The description of the issue the way the team stated it in the project.
Process mapping and how it was done.
