You need to take out your project planning sheet (for your Narrative Project) If you did not turn in the work from Friday, take it out and have it on your desk. Make sure you have a Week 5 Warm Up Sheet from me!

4 Pronouns and Antecedents
A pronoun is a word used in place of a noun (I, me, we, you, us, our, them, they, etc.). The antecedent of a pronoun is the noun which the pronoun replaces or to which it refers. Sharon loves to walk on the beach. She watches the sunset often. She is a pronoun that refers to the antecedent Sharon. Why would you want pronouns?

6 Write a concise paragraph (4 – 5) sentences on the following topic:

Adverbs modify (add description to) a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. They truly answer the questions: “Where? When? In what manner? To what extent? Adverb Examples: Willfully, Abruptly, There Everywhere, Now, First, Very, Too

15 Example Sentences An action verb, adjective, or adverb is underlined in each sentence. Circle the adverb that describes the underlined word. My grandpa snored loudly. 2. Chloe played basketball yesterday.
