George and his men went to Betsy’s shop and asked her to make a flag with thirteen stars and stripes but Betsy said five sided stars would be better so she did

They had Clarissa, Susannah, Rachel, Jane, and Harriet who died as a baby

John died from a disability

11. Retiring
At age 75 she stopped running her upholstery shop because her eyesight was failing

12. Death
Betsy Ross died on January 30, 1836 at age 84
