An individual living thing is called an organism. Organisms carry out life processes (growth, response nutrition, etc.).

3 How are living things organized?
Two kinds of organisms: One-celled (unicellular) Many-celled (multicellular)

4 How do cells work together?
A group of similar cells that do the same job is called a tissue. Blood Muscles Nerves Bone

5 What are some plant and animal organ systems?
Different tissues working together form an organ. Heart Brain Lungs Plant stems

6 What are some plant and animal organ systems?
A group of different organs working together to do a certain job is an organ system. Root System Skeletal System
