Removing Gloves

2. A Grasp the palm or outside cuff of the left
glove with the gloved right hand.

3. B Pull the left glove toward the fingertips
B Pull the left glove toward the fingertips. The glove should turn inside out as it is removed.

4. C Hold the removed glove in the still-gloved right hand
C Hold the removed glove in the still-gloved right hand. Insert the thumb or two fingers of the ungloved left hand under the cuff of the right glove, carefully avoiding any contaminated areas. Pull the right glove toward the fingertips, turning the glove inside out as it is removed. The soiled left glove should remain in the palm of the right glove as it is removed.

5. D Dispose of the gloves in a container clearly marked with the biohazard label and wash hands thoroughly.
