Born a crime is a hilarious story about the one of a kind comedian, Trevor Noah`s, life and growing up knowing he was born a crime.

2. What it is about.
His mum is from south Africa and his dad is a Swiss German.
His mum`s name is Patricia Nombuyiselo Noah and his dad`s name is Robert.

In Born a crime, Trevor explains how he is raised in a world run by women and all family have to hide during the time of apartheid (when the white were treating the black like a disease ). It was illegal for a white person and a black person to have a child together, however, that’s just what Trevor`s parents did.

3. Why I liked this book.
I enjoyed this book because it was blissfully funny and it taught me that no matter how hard life is, you can always make the best of it. When I first watched Trevor Noah, I thought that he was always successful, but when I read his book, I found out what hardships he went through.

4. Conclusion
I would recommend this book to all of Trevor Noah`s fans; anyone who is being teased about there race so they know what Trevor went through. One day, I hope Trevor`s stepfather reads this book, changes his ways and be comes a better man. I hope Trevor Noah is reading this and if he is , I want him to know that no matter what, all his fans ,especially me, are with him.

5. Me reading the book
My mum bought me this book at this year’s Africa Writes, at the British Library which I attend every year. Here you meet authors and as I love reading, Its like a heaven for me. Unfortunately Trevor Noah wasn’t at the Africa write so I didn’t get my book signed.
It was pretty expensive too, I still haven’t earned enough pocket money to repay my mum.
