3 Class of Drug Hallucinogens are a diverse group of drugs that alter perception (awareness of surrounding objects and conditions), thoughts, and feelings. They cause hallucinations, or sensations and images that seem real though they are not. Hallucinogens can be found in some plants and mushrooms (or their extracts) or can be human-made.

4 Paraphernalia with LSD
Blotted paper- Each dose is a perforated paper square (about 1/4 inch) dipped in or applied with liquid LSD. The small papers often include an artistic image or coloring. Sugar cubes – Sugar cubes were the original delivery system and remain in use today. Gelatin – Like sugar, people typically do not have small packages of colored gelatin in random places. Gelatin is another popular delivery method of LSD. Tablets – The multi-purpose use of tablets make them a less-telling sign, but watch for orange tablets and tiny microdots as they have distinct histories in LSD use.

9 Identification of LSD Chemical reagent test “Ehrlich’s Reagent”
Available online from a variety of sources a solution of hydrochloric acid and ethanol Identifies that LSD is not present by ruling out 25i-NBOMe Ehrlich's can also be used to identify other indoles Contains enough reagent for approximately 50 tests UV Test LSD glows blue to blue-ish white under long wave (360 nm) UV light If it doesn't glow, LSD can generally be ruled out The glow should be apparent in both crystal form and liquid form.
