These release notes contain all items released between Sept. 14 – Oct. 11 as a part of the continuous delivery process and the Oct. 11 monthly release. 2 New and Enhanced Features
Mobile 2.0 Settings Settings have been added to both the Android and iOS legacy mobile apps, which will prevent sales reps from taking ownership of customers that are not assigned to them. Sales reps will receive a pop-up that requires them to obtain manager approval to claim the customer. See page 3 for additional details and examples. Note: Only a Vin employee has the ability to turn on and off this setting. Contact your performance manager or VinSolutions support to change this setting. Reporting & Analytics Platform Connect Reporting A Schedule Manager ( ) has been added to the Connect Reporting platform. Schedule Manager allows Dealer group users to see a list of reports scheduled for all dealerships they can access. To help users with entering formulas in Connect Reporting, the Formula Help Guide has been updated to include more relevant explanations and examples. Other Features On the manage Campaigns Dashboard, the number of customers now displays correctly for the number of affected customer for a campaign. ©2016 VinSolutions

3 Mobile Setting Details
Settings have been added that will prevent a user with Sales Rep CRM access from taking ownership of customers that are not assigned to them in the following examples: A user attempts to add or select a customer record that is assigned to another non-orphaned user. Result: If the setting is enabled, then that user will be prevented from taking ownership of that record. The user will see a pop-up message that states, This customer is assigned to a different sales rep. Please see your manager to have them reassigned to your name. 2. A user attempts to add or select a customer record that is assigned to another user. Result: If the setting is disabled, and the user is already listed as the split sales rep assigned to the customer, that user will be able to proceed and access the customer record and the current sales rep assignments will remain intact. 3. A user attempts to add or select a customer record that is assigned to another user. Result: If the setting is disabled, the user will become the sales rep assigned to that customer and the other user will be moved to salesperson 2. (Current functionality) 4. A user is attempting to add or select a customer record that is assigned to the orphan service user.  Result: If the setting is enabled, the user will become the sales rep assigned to that customer and the orphan service user will be moved to sales person 2. (Current functionality) 5. A user with Sale Rep CRM access is attempting to add or select a customer record that is assigned to the orphan service user. Result: If the setting is disabled, the user will be assigned to that customer and the orphan service user will be moved to salesperson 2. (Current functionality) ©2016 VinSolutions
